Sheepy Weekend
Forister Exotics Exotic Sheep Hunts
Keith made his way out to the ranch this weekend and we had a few animals on the menu and got right down to it taking a nice Chocolate Fallow buck the first evening. Somehow we managed not to botch the pictures and got him skinned and taken care of before we figure out the pics where not good. So lesson learned there but we had other animals on the agenda and we hit the ground running Saturday. I put Keith in a box blind anticipating the Iranian Red sheep coming into bow range. After a while they came in and nosed around the corn a bit butt never got into comfortable range so as the started to leave the decision was made to take one with the rifle. Nice quartering away 100 yard shot and this awesome Iranian Red Sheep was down. We got pictures and got this Iranian Red Sheep in the cooler and proceeded to hunt for something that would go good on Keith’s wall. The day was winding down and we were getting ready to call it a hunt and head back to the lodge and have a nice dinner when we spotted a nice herd of Mouflon out on a grass flat. We picked one out and got a range of about 245 yards and knowing the weapon and his abilities Keith let his .308 loose and made a great shot dropping this Mouflon where he stood. Congrats Keith on a couple fine trophies and another great weekend at Forister Exotics.
